Ryggåsstugan

If you want to stay rural yet really comfortable, we highly recommend a stay in our Ryggåsstuga. In this cottage, built during the 18th century, you can truly feel the echoes of history in a comfortable environment.

Sit back and relax in front of the crackling fire in the wood-burning stove, close your eyes, and let your imagination wander. Can you picture life here generations ago — someone cooking by the open fireplace while the children drifted off to sleep in the pull-out sofa? Whatever memories or feelings this place stirs in you, our guests almost always tell us the same thing: they sleep incredibly well in the perfectly tempered bedroom!

The cabin features a spacious living room with a cozy wood-burning stove, a comfortable sofa area, and a dining space. The small but well-equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove with two burners (no oven), microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. You’ll also find basic essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee, and tea. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, and the bathroom includes a shower and toilet. Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin.

Step outside and enjoy access to the garden right outside your door. Pets are warmly welcome!

A wood-fired hot tub is available on the property and can be booked separately for a relaxing soak under the stars. An EV charger is also available (please bring your own charging cable).

If you’d like, you can order a breakfast basket delivered directly to your cabin (not available from December 19 to January 31).
