Our cottage

Stay in our beautiful and romantic high-ceilinged cottage, which was built in the late 18th century and carefully converted in 2004. The cottage is located in the Swedish forest outside of Ljungsarp, and is a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy peace and quiet. Bed and breakfast in a unique environment, with the forest as a neighbour! The cottage has a spacious living room with an open fireplace, a small but functional kitchen, a homely bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The high-ceilinged cottage, which is beautifully furnished, is listed as a building of culture-historical significance. In the cottage we have preserved the old, but added modern amenities such as ground source heating, electricity, and Wi-Fi. There is a kitchen that is elegant in its simplicity, with two hot plates, a fridge, and a marble sink. The bathroom is tiled and equipped with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Something that is unique to the cottage is that the floor is made from wood from our own forest. After a day spent enjoying the forest, you can relax in front of the open fire.
Here, you live comfortably in a homely and romantic environment, and there is an extra bed that allows three people to stay in the cottage. If you want to eat food prepared by Elisabeth in our barn, which was converted in 2019 and is now the site of a bakery and restaurant, you can book this by contacting us prior to your arrival.

Our cottage is perfect for those seeking relaxation, peace, and quiet. Enjoy breakfast in the bakery or greenhouse, warm up in front of the open fire, or spend the evening in our wood-fired hot tub under the open sky.

The cottage is located in beautiful countryside, and is surrounded by the green Swedish forest and fields. Only ten minutes’ walk from the cottage there is a beautiful lake where you can swim or rent our boat in the summer. If you stay with us during the winter, there may be opportunities to go skating or fishing on the lake. Alternatively, why not pack some food and just enjoy nature?
