Café & Bakery

The summer café will open again in the summer of 2024.

More than just really good “swedish fika”

In our farm café, we offer not only truly delicious treats baked in our own farm bakery but also a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. When the weather permits, you can sit outside in the garden, enjoying the tranquility with a good cup of coffee or tea and freshly baked goods. If hunger strikes, we also serve light meals, such as our version of smørrebrød (perhaps accompanied by a cold, locally produced beer or a glass of wine) or burgers made with locally sourced meat – naturally served with our stone-oven baked burger buns.

We love local produce and go to great lengths to provide the best ingredients the season has to offer. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options are available.

Farm Bakery

In our farm bakery, we bake, among other things, our award-winning sourdough bread “Lindås Ljusa” and organize sourdough baking courses. During the summer, when our summer café is open, we also bake buns and other delicious treats in the bakery.

Our ingredients for baking come from local suppliers. All the flour we use is organically grown heritage grains from the Västgötaslätten, such as Öland wheat, Emmer, and Spelt.

If you want to bake bread with this flour, it’s available for purchase in our bakery. Our various sourdough bread varieties, along with our cinnamon buns and hamburger buns, are for sale not only in our bakery when our farm café is open but also at other selected locations in our region.

Some favorites among the breads you’ll find with us include:

Lindås Ljusa – our signature bread! A light Levain bread, baked with Öland wheat

Walnut Bread – A light Levain bread with roasted organic walnuts

Krösamaja – A moist rye bread with lingonberries from our forests

Keep an eye on our social media for current sales locations.

In addition to the fact that the bread must taste good, I place great importance on it also being beautiful when served. With small cuts in the surface of the bread before baking, you can create fantastic patterns and motifs – it almost becomes like an extra spice on the bread.
